March Madness

Forget NCAA, we have our own March Madness with the 2 higher seeds losing in the opening round of playoffs.  Both games were tight, coming down to final stones in both.  Assante had the first OT win of the playoffs, putting one on the button that just refused to be taken out.

Still trying to alter schedule, but no luck so far, which means things could get ugly in the schedule as Assante is mostly out this week and Bridgewater having 6pm issues.  I will continue to try, so stay tuned, but if things don't get shifted, teams need to be ready to play the following schedule.

Playoffs, Playoffs, you talking bout playoffs!

The end of the regular season was capped of with wins by Formerly 4 and Bridgewater, who will kick off the playoffs this week in Game 1 as seeds 2 and 3 faceoff for a shot at Baynish who gets the playoff week 1 bye.

Just Alex and Assante battle for a chance to continue toward the championship.

ASSANTE WINS!

Congrats to my friends at Assante who got their first win tonight, and as the losing skip, it was well deserved as they all curled well and called a good game.  Great job guys, many more wins are in your future.

Officially they took down Formerly 4 by a score of 7 to 2.  In other action, Baynish beat Bridgewater 8 to 2.
