Week 1 of the playoffs is over and the big story was the ice. Whether dirty, fast, or curling more than perhaps we have ever seen it curl in league history, it made for a wild night.

Assante beat Bridgewater in the 2/3 game and CB Oilers edged out Beers On You in the 4/5 game.
Up next....
Assante plays Baynish at 6 pm on the 18th with the winner through to the final.
At 8pm on the 18th.....
CB Oilers play the loser of the 6pm game (winner of this game plays in the final)
Bridgewater plays Beers On You
The finale will take place on the 25th.

We are closing in on the playoffs, and Baynish has been quietly (unusual for Rob) been kicking some butt, sporting a 1 loss season so far. The battle for 3rd is heating up. Good luck everyone, grab a good seed if you can get it.

Results Week 11
The final round of round robin play started last night and saw Bridgewater take down Assante 6 to 1 with Alderman doing his best bambi impression with an important last stone in the 3rd end. In other action, last place Beers on You had first place Baynish on the ropes up 6 to 5 with one end to go. Baynish battled back and took the game 8 to 6.

4 Rock Rule: You cannot remove the oppositions stone from the guard zone, you can remove your own. If the opposition stone is know out of play, replace the opposition stone and the stone causing the infraction is removed.
